DocP of Fast Days Healing Days shows us how to make a huge pot of soup you can munch on all day for only 343 calories for an entire pot! No need to go hungry on fast days when DocP is around!

we-heart-cabbageAs a super busy psychologist with no time during the day to cook, this fantastically versatile spin-off of the famous diet cabbage soup has saved me time and time again. It is so simple to make, the seasonings can be varied over and over again so that it is always new, and it is one of my favorite “Big Bang for Your Calorie Buck” treasures: Because I am a girl who needs some volume on my Fast Days (FDs).

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Keep the basic recipe the same, but add any other veggies or seasonings you like—just make sure to account for any variation in calorie count. I like to add a tablespoon or two of salsa con queso to the finished bowl of soup, and I make sure to add those 35-40 calories when I do!
